Independence for the Blind

From adventure seeker to God lover, Lewis Swann felt called to start a medical ministry called Sight.org. Togo, Africa, has a huge problem with preventable blindness, and when someone in Togo goes blind, they lose their independence and are stigmatized as socially inferior. Sight.org delivers sight to the blind, which also opens the door to share the good news of Jesus where over 280,000 people have never heard the gospel. Traveling deep into the jungles of Africa with a donated ETMC ambulance retrofitted into a mobile eye surgical clinic, Sight.org has performed sight-restoring surgeries to over 1,000 people, where there is zero access to eye care. Following this care, the doors are opened to show the Jesus Film, evangelizing door-to-door, and provide discipleship through local ministry partners. You too can impact the blind and the unreached in Africa when you partner with Sight.org.
