A proud Tyler resident for 28 years, Matthew attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX from 1994 to 1998. He has been married to his wife, Jaime, for 27 years. Together, they’ve raised five wonderful children — three boys and two girls — and have a heart for family and service, having fostered and adopted their youngest. Their home is joyfully full with three Shi-Tzus and a bearded dragon.

In his free time, Matthew enjoys working out, smoking meat, and shooting sports. He also serves on the Safety Team at Green Acres Baptist Church, where Jaime leads as Director of Grace Works, the church’s Counseling Ministry. She holds a master’s degree from Liberty University and is a licensed professional counselor.
