Darby's Dancers at Red River

Helping kids of all abilities get their groove on

Red River Dance is excited for the new school year. This year, they will be creating a space for special needs kids to dance to their heart’s content. RRD is partnering with Darby’s Dancers, a program inspired by a passionate dancer who lost her battle with leukemia, a heart defect, and Down Syndrome in 2013. Darby inspired her friends and all the people around her to face life with dignity, grace, and joy.

Haylee, the program director at Red River Dance, is hoping to inspire everyone in the Fargo-Moorhead area to face their challenges in the same way; with dignity, grace, and joy. What better way to express that than through dance? The program will start in the fall, as a once a week class. RRD instructors look forward to guiding the steps of the dances, and will cultivate the enthusiasm and confidence of each dancer.
