It started with a small building on the plains of western North Dakota.
In 1910, in the community of Arnegard, First International Bank & Trust (FIBT) was built on a simple idea: banking should feel personal. That belief still guides us today, just as it did when a team of horses once moved the bank itself to stay closer to opportunity. More than a century later, that same spirit lives on here in Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo.
The strength of local banking goes far beyond where you are located. It’s about who you serve and how you show up. It’s about knowing the families behind the accounts, the businesses driving our local economy and the goals that shape our communities.
Through changing times, FIBT has remained committed to relationship-based banking, helping customers buy homes, grow businesses, and plan for the future with confidence. Because for us, “local” isn’t just where we operate − it’s who we stand with every day.
Right here in our community, that means being a bank you can count on... today, tomorrow and for generations to come.
