QC Dental Docs: Mission (of Mercy) Accomplished

QC Dental Docs, P.C. puts smiles on faces—literally. As one of the Quad Cities’ premier family dentistries, QC Dental Docs is committed to providing the best possible dental care for patients, including those unable to pay.

In fall 2014, the QC Dental Docs team took its practice outside its walls to participate in the annual Iowa Mission of Mercy, a free two-day clinic for children and adults in need of dental services. Patients are assisted on a first-come, first-served basis regardless of their income or previous dental history. Since the clinic is free, it is staffed by hundreds of volunteers throughout Iowa and Nebraska.

This past fall, those volunteers included Drs. Benoit, Irwin, Wenger, and staff at QC Dental Docs. With their help, the Iowa Mission of Mercy was able to provide over $700,000 worth of dental care to over 1,000 people—many of whom waited in line overnight just to receive care that they wouldn’t otherwise have access to.

The QC Dental Docs team feels blessed to be part of a profession that can give back so much to the community. Mission accomplished!
