Keller Williams Realty Proves Home Is Where the Heart Is

Keller Williams Realty Greater Quad Cities, the fastest-growing real estate company in the Quad Cities, knows a thing or two about homes. The company spends its time helping both customers and those in need find their own place to call home.

While no one wants to live in a homeless shelter permanently, Keller Williams helps make their local shelter as comfortable as possible for those who need to stay there temporarily. Not only does Keller Williams make and serve snacks for the homeless on many evenings throughout the year, the company also helps out at the annual King’s Harvest Red Day, when volunteers spend an entire day cleaning, organizing, and landscaping the shelter in preparation for opening day.

This year, Keller Williams also hosted their own charitable event: their first-ever “Give Where You Live” fundraiser. Featuring a silent auction and food from some of the Quad Cities’ finest chefs, this event raised funds for many different community causes.

And that’s not all. Other ways in which Keller Williams helps support the community include serving at the Salvation Army Realtor Ring Day; packing meals to feed the hungry for Harvest Bible Chapel’s “Feed the City” drive; and collecting blankets, pillows, hats, gloves, and scarves for needy and homeless people throughout the Quad Cities.

Some realtors might proclaim, “Location, location, location!” But the folks at Keller Williams Realty Greater Quad Cities know that a home is much more than that. That’s why they put their heart and soul into making home “where the heart is” for countless Quad Cities residents.
