Rhythm City Casino Resort is a proud member of Scott County and is dedicated to helping those in our community and surrounding areas. In 2013 Kehl Management pledged to give $1 million over five years in charitable donations to five local charities: Humility of Mary Housing, Humility of Mary Shelter, Café on Vine, Kings Harvest, and Father Conroy’s Vineyard of Hope in Davenport.
Collection boxes are on casino floor where guests can drop money or unwanted gaming tickets in throughout the year. This collection is added to the donation to the five charities with contributes approx. another $15,000/yr.
The Regional Development Authority non-profit holds the gaming license for the Rhythm City Casino, which is the single income source for the organization, tied to the casino gaming receipts. Grants to non-profit community organizations are distributed from a portion of the revenue. The grand total of dollars awarded to non-profits is $60.4 million since 1991.
Rhythm City Casino Resort supports the community, through involvement with Make A Wish, Special Olympics, United Way, Girl Scouts, Riverbend Food Bank, CASI, Davenport Rotary, Race for the Cure, New Kingdom Trailriders, Scott County Family Y, American Red Cross, HAVLife, Boys & Girls Club of Mississippi Valley, Junior Achievement and many more non-profits along with over $13K a year in taxes paid to the State of Iowa, Scott County and the City of Davenport.
