Welcome to Artistic Intensity!

 I, Lexy Ludtke (Owner/Artistic Director) along with Lolly Ludtke (Assistant Director), welcome you to Artistic Intensity! We are a family-owned dance and tumbling school for ages 18 months to adults. Whether you're just looking to learn the art of dance and tumbling or hoping to become a professional, our mission is to create well trained artists in a place that our students can call their home 💚💜 

           Beginning with my parents, our school has seen over 40 years of success in the Quad Cities! Upon taking ownership, I wanted to transform to what I saw for the future of my family's hard work and what I wanted to bring to the Quad Cities, so, I made the decision to create a private school training environment. This gives us the opportunity to provide our students with the one-on-one attention they need and consistent training throughout their education. We dedicate our time to providing in-depth instruction to help every student, at every age and level, reach their fullest potential. No more having to search for your child on the stage, everyone should get their time to shine!

           We ensure that our students are well-rounded artists by embracing a wide variety of dance subjects including Ballet/Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, Tumbling, and more! For our littlest students, we have parent/child participation and independent classes that will let them learn basic skills, dance, and tumbling while they have fun socializing and playing games! For our beginner students we offer combo classes for all ages to help them begin their education and for our advanced dancers we offer individual class genres to ensure each student is placed in a level where they will excel!           We take pride in providing numerous performance opportunities for our students! Along with our competition team, Sole Artistry, our non-competitive students also perform with us in many local parades and community events! We also host 3 big showcases throughout the year including our summer showcase, winter-themed showcase, and our formal spring showcase where we put on a professional artistic production in costumes and our students get to show off their talents to all of their family and friends!

           Our students and staff's hard work has earned them many regional and national championship awards as well as going on to successful careers in our industry. Our choreography has won numerous awards throughout the U.S. including multiple nationally recognized choreography awards. We teach our students not only technique, but how to express themselves through movement, and their unique passion shows through in every step. We are dedicated to providing competitive prices and a high-quality education, as well as unique, creative choreography, costuming, and performances. Enrolling at Artistic Intensity, you will be involved in a physical activity that has been proven to help gain confidence, independence, learn dedication and teamwork, along with many other essential skills that can truly be used throughout life, and most importantly, we are passionate about our work and continually strive to teach our students the love and art of dance and tumbling!
