Major Art & Hobby is the Quad Cities oldest hobby store. Opened in 1954 the business has been family owned and operated for over 60 years and 3 generations strong. We have also been located at the same downtown corner since we started! We are the Quad Cities' oldest hobby shop!
Hobby Department
At Major Art & Hobby we have a large selection of hobbies for you to choose from. We carry R/C cars, planes, helicopters, and boats as well as model railroad supplies and accessories. We also have a huge selection of engines, rockets, and accessories to choose from. Are you a scale model builder? We carry a large variety of plastic models kits as well as some wooden kits and we also stock balsa wood and plastic styrene.

Our custom picture framing department opened in the mid 1960’s and has been going strong ever since. We serve both commercial and residential customers with their picture framing needs.
