"Went in for a simple oil change. They noticed some metal shavings on the oil plug and noticed the main bearings were shot. Brian the owner was very sincere (knowing I’d just bought the vehicle) let me know the issue and the only fix was a complete rebuild or new motor. We got to looking for a motor, luckily I found one warranted and low mileage. Normal shops want you to buy through them to jack up the price -not at Shawn’s. They kept me updated even sent pics and let me know anytime I was close to stop in cause they would want to check on the motor to make sure everything was still running smooth.
