In 1970, Robert White established “Rob White Roofing” after working for eight years with various roofing contractors and teaching in the Davenport School System for a year. In 1974, White Roofing was established, and two years later, White Roofing Co., Inc. became the official registered name with the State of Iowa. Since then, the business has grown from a strictly “shingle roofer” with Mr. White doing the estimating and roofing by himself, into a corporation employing over 30 dedicated employees and yearly sales in the millions. We are proud to complete both residential and commercial roofing projects.

In 1984, White Roofing Co., Inc. expanded into the commercial roofing industry. Two years later, in 1986, White Roofing Co, Inc. became a Carlisle Approved Applicator. By 1993, the company was awarded the status of a Carlisle “Centurion” applicator, with over 100 “Perfect 10” roof installations. At the present time, we are a Carlisle Hall of Fame applicator with over 500 “Perfect 10” roofing installations. In addition, we are also an approved Firestone EPDM and TPO applicator.

Over the years, we have developed a specialty in steep slope and shingle roofing. Our team has specialized on numerous churches and large commercial projects due to their architectural significance and the challenges involved. OVER 250 YEARS OF COMBINED EXPERIENCE

White Roofing Co., Inc., is the oldest roofing company with the same ownership in the Quad Cities. We have installed a variety of roofing types including: shingles, wood shakes, slate and tile roofing on many different types of structures. We are proud to be the team customers trust for roof repair, roof replacement, and roof maintenance. The combined experience of administrative and field employees totals well over 250 years. In addition, White Roofing Co., Inc. employees are dedicated to constant improvement with timely internal and external training sessions and seminars. The company has numerous specialties of "lifts" and conveyors as well as two of their own cranes.

All employees take pride in their safety record while the company enjoys a lower than average insurance experience rating. Safety meetings are conducted at least once a week with mandatory attendance.
