Nanna’s Café & Bread Company began with one simple problem: the gluten-free options on store shelves were disappointing—shrinking loaves, gaping holes, cardboard-like flavor, and little care for people who needed GFDF foods. Joanna “Nanna” Jones accepted the challenge to create something better, and her first perfect loaf quickly sparked requests from friends, then farmers markets, and eventually local partners like the Diamond E Collective and Breadroot. What began as a home experiment rapidly grew into a full café.
Today, Nanna’s Café is dedicated to restoring trust in gluten- and dairy-free foods. The team believes GFDF bread can be delicious for everyone, allergy or not. Their breads, pastries, and café menu are crafted to deliver the perfect balance of taste and texture—nothing like the store-bought options that inspired this journey.

Spoke to the owners who are absolutely wonderful, about their start and I definitely hope anyone in the area stops in to show support. Food was excellent. They have sweets too!!!
