Gary McCoy

Gary McCoy is a longtime radio personality and proud member of Kiss Country radio in Shreveport, where he brings humor, country music, and community spirit to the airwaves. A Shreveport native, Gary was born at the old Doctor’s Hospital (delivered by none other than Dr. Flake—clearly a sign he was destined for radio). He grew up in Trinity Heights and made the bold career move of choosing deer hunting over finals, leading him straight into the world of broadcasting. Now calling Haughton home, he shares life’s adventures with his wife, Julie, and their sons Buddy, Craig, and Colt. When he’s not on the air, you’ll find Gary huntingfishing, and daydreaming about winning the Powerball—if he ever remembers to buy a ticket.

Jess Rose

As a little girl, I wanted nothing more than to play softball. There wasn't a feeling in the world that could surpass being on that field. But when I failed to make the team at Baylor University, I found myself searching for what I was supposed to do with my life. And I found you. Well, I found radio, but you came with it. I fell in love with the connection I have with you. Now, I get to go to work with you every single day and I constantly pinch myself asking if this is really my life. Radio has given me the opportunity to create unforgettable experiences for you and the chance to meet and interview some highly influential people like Taylor Swift, Garth Brooks, Elizabeth Hurley, Eli Manning, Conan O'Brien and more. I grew up in a tiny town in California, but also lived in New York City for a season. I've seen it all. I'm the wife of a hunk who has no clue that he is way out of my league and I'm a dog mom to a spunky lil' Morkiepoo named Ollie who totally runs the house. I love country music, reality television, reading, cooking (with the occasional dance party in the kitchen), motivating others to be their very best ... oh, and a good cheeseburger. Thank you for the chance to spend time with you each day!

Krystal Montez

Krystal “Chica” Montez is a passionate radio host and content creator based in Shreveport, Louisiana. Originally from California, she made her way to Louisiana as fast as she could and now embraces the local culture, food, and community. A self-proclaimed foodie, Krystal loves exploring Shreveport-Bossier’s best hidden gems, especially mom-and-pop restaurants that serve up authentic, home-cooked meals. When she’s not on the air or discovering her next favorite meal, she’s kept on her toes by her mischievous 10-pound dog, Olive, who somehow manages to create chaos at home while she’s at work. Krystal’s love for local storytelling, music, and community engagement fuels her work, making her a familiar and trusted voice in Shreveport-Bossier.

His career has since included stops in Charlotte, Memphis, New York City, Detroit, San Diego, Philadelphia and Portland. Evan met his wife and best friend, Kristen, in New York City in August of 2009, and they married in 2016 — but not before he decided to make a major change to his lifestyle and lose weight. Through determination and motivation from his wife and family, Evan lost more than 200 pounds. He and his wife cook and bake healthy food that they both eat to maintain his healthy lifestyle! The couple’s lives forever changed for the better on April 7, 2019, when their first child, Libby Mae, was born. Now the family resides in Nashville with their cat, Ninja, and cockatiel, Marlee.

Brett Alan

The biggest part of my life is my family. I've got my wife Brandi and 2 kids (Madelynn and Maverick) that I love very much. Oh...and I'm also a huge advocate for rescue pups. I have a Boston Terrier named Frankie that I got through a friend. He's a nut. We also have a French Bulldog named Gerti and an English Bulldog named Minnie Pearl (yes after the comedian with the tag on her hat) that were both rescues as well. They are like our kids and we love them very much. Although I haven't had much time for hobbies when I do have downtime I enjoy training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I also own a sound system, so I’m busy…a lot. I've begun to enjoy home improvement projects too. I even built myself my own fully functional studio in my basement! I love to fish, camp, hang out by a fire, play some poker and generally anything that involves hanging out with friends with some ice-cold beers.
