Faith In Action Initiatives is a new program in the Baylor Scott and White’s Central Division that is helping to elevate the accessibility of healthcare to impoverished people groups, both here locally and around the world. Instead of throwing away obsolete, but still useful medical supplies, equipment and furniture, Faith In Action is resourcing medical missions, churches, charitable clinics and humanitarian aid.
Just within this last quarter we have been able to resource over 15 local charitable clinics, nonprofits, medical missions and humanitarian aid On average we send out two 40’ shipping containers a month to hospitals and medical missions all over the world.
Feel free to contact Matthew Hoffman, Strategy Coordinator at 254-227-2640 or via email at matthew.hoffman@baylorhealth.edu should you have any questions and if there is any way we might be of support to your nonprofit/charitable organization or ministry.
