Established in 1993, Gholson Originals has experienced many years of growth and enjoyed many years of wonderful customers. The Gholsons strive to create and offer the best, and long to add to the story of each individual piece of jewelry. They have had the honor of crafting pieces for every occasion, whether it be weddings and graduations, or bringing new life to sentimental pieces. You can find their shop nestled at the very end of Valley Mills, before you reach the bend around Lake Waco, in the Ridgewood Village Shopping Center!
Our Story
Bobby and Sissi, former high school sweethearts, have been married for 34 years and counting. As Waco natives, they know few strangers and love their Central Texas roots. Though Bob has worked in the jewelry industry since 1985, he first tried his hand at design in high school where he made several ceramic rings, showcasing his creativity. Sissi, who has always been outgoing, hospitable and had a knack for design, joined Bobby at the shop soon after he started the business in 1993. For nearly 25 years, Bob and Sissi Gholson have made it their passion to serve all of Waco and the surrounding area’s jewelry needs.
From designing one of a kind pieces and bringing new life to heirlooms and sentimental items, to re-designing dated pieces of jewelry and providing quality repairs, they aim to bring glory to God and offer nothing but excellence. Bob and Sis reside in the Waco area with their two dobermans and enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
