Appointed the Official Repository, Library and Archives of the Texas Rangers by the Texas Legislature (1997)
Sponsored since 1968 by the City of Waco, Texas

Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum Mission:
(1) To disseminate knowledge and inspire appreciation of the Texas Rangers, a legendary symbol of Texas and the American West;
(2) To serve as the principal repository for artifacts and archives relating to the Texas Rangers.
Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum Goals:
- To honor those who have who served or are serving in the Texas Rangers;
- To collect, preserve, and exhibit historical materials relating to the Texas Ranger service;
- To encourage study and research into the Texas Rangers through a research center;
- To promotea pride and interest in the Texas Rangers and the heritage of the American West.;
- To constantly improve and meet or exceed professional museum standards.
MUSEUM HOURS - Open 9 am - Close 5 pm Monday-Sunday; last Guest Admitted at 4:30 pm; Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Days & during heavy snow and ice.
