Finkbine Golf Course 

Finkbine Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course, home to the University of Iowa Men’s and Women’s collegiate golf teams, that spreads over 200 acres of rolling Iowa terrain. Finkbine features Bentgrass greens, tees, tree-lined fairways, 50+ well-manicured sand traps and a signature hole (the par-3, 13th) that offers a double green with a tee shot over the lone water feature on the course. Two new putting greens compliment the large driving range to help golfers work on their game and the new Nagle Family Clubhouse offers a more expansive, high-end golf shop.  Finkbine Golf Course is owned by the University of Iowa Athletic Department and is named after W.O. Finkbine, who donated the land to the University of Iowa.  Finkbine Golf Course is managed by Troon Golf.

Bump's Restaurant is named for Chalmers “Bump” Elliott, who was director of men's athletics at the University of Iowa from 1970-1991, an era when the Hawkeyes won 34 Big Ten and 11 NCAA championships. He has been described as the architect of Iowa Athletics, and his foundation of hard work, loyalty, and dedication continues to cement the success of Iowa Athletics. He lives on in Hawkeye Nation as a true legend.

Golf Outings & Private Events

FINKBINE GOLF COURSE specializes in group golf outings large or small, hosting numerous many events each season including charity events, business outings, as well as IGA, Iowa PGA and NCAA golf tournaments. Everyone will appreciate the quality of our golf course, the outstanding food and beverage, and the standard of service provided by our staff. Whatever the needs of your event, our experienced PGA professional staff is happy to host your next outing. Bump’s Restaurant space is included with golf outings before and for no more than 3 hours following the end of the golf round.

BUMP’S RESTAURANT offers a variety of options for private events and parties at our beautiful new Nagle Family Clubhouse. From full meals to buffets, to casual lunches off the menu, just let us know what type of event you are looking to host, and we can provide choices and pricing accordingly!
